Yeah baby yeah. I’m taking my daughter to the penultimate Dutch GP where we will be supporting McLaren and Lawson. And yes I did need to mortgage my house to pay for the tickets

Gonna be a huge opportunity, and a massive challenge. The RB package was not great this year, Max optimised it, Cheko struggled. It remains to be seen if they can close the gap on McLaren in particular. But if he works hard for the team, and Max takes him under his wing he could do well. Just needs to score points most rounds, and if he can grab a few podiums too that would be amazing

So Lawson was slow for reason yesterday and now has mechanical issues that ruin his p3. Qualifying will be difficult
I just read he had recharge issues today, was that the same yesterday too then?
From the commentary I heard they said he just wasn't feeling comfortable in the setup and by his own admission wasn't fast enough.

Crazy start to the AGP with three cars crashed out in the first lap, including Carlos Sainz and son of Aussie legend Jack Doohan. Lawson will want the conditions to stay a little rough for a wee bit longer to try and give him a chance to jump some places.
Already Verstappen looks at home in sub optimal conditions jumping Piastri into P2 -
Just as the track dried a bit and most cars changed to slick tires , rain is coming. This could get crazy. Liam on medium tires should chance his arm and stay out. As I type, Piastri has spun into the grass and Max leads as Norris pits. LL has leapfrogged to 7th as a number of cars pit to get rain tires on

Lawson and a bunch of other drivers crashed out on medium tires in the rain, Piastri and the Ferraris at the tail of the field
Even with a quarter of the field out, top ten isn't really the tail.
Typing as I watch. Piastri at the tail. Ferraris were leading and the gamble to run on slicks seemed to be paying off until they were forced to pit and change tires
