That’s up there with convincing the flight attendant he was airsick before the plane had even taken off right after he killed the guy looking after him in a crowded plane with no one seeing.
Those South Americans did NOT know who they were fucking with. They should have listened to Bennett
Those "piss ant" soldiers as Bennett called them. Classic

Bennett looked like he should have been singing with the village people. I always thought Cook should have been the main antagonist.
Vernon Wells was outstanding in Mad Max though. He had to be chained up til the Lord Humungous released him to cause carnage.

His outfit was definitely sketchy, he was overweight and he got almost sexually excited at the thought of running his knife through Matrix. But all in all it was a great movie. So many moments and one liners by all the actors

Interesting theory, he was pretty bad ass, and would have made for a better final boss fight, though not as "flamboyant".
Yeah he just seemed like a guy more capable of fighting Arnie on an even keel.
But yes, as has been mentioned on here numerous times Commando is genius

@canefan It's a podcast done by two successful screenwriter/producers. In that case, they were much lamenting that Arnie had too many other projects to make Commando II. Great script though.
Someone needs to make that using AI or something

Yeah I always found it weird he never did a sequel.
Sooooooooo many possibilities. Him and Rae Dawn have settled down, Jenny is a great step sister to the adorable child they have. Life is great then BOOM the relatives/associates or whatever of some goons from the first movie come and ruin it. Shit goes DOWN
If we’re talking late 80s Arnie made Running Man, Predator, Twins……that woulda kept him pretty busy. Two all time classics there and Twins wasn’t without its charms…..Total Recall and Kindergarten Cop after them as well but nothing genuinely awesome after T2.
Maybe it’s a good thing it was never greenlighted. I can name on one hand sequels that are better than the originals….
