If we are going to lose then at least play the newbies and fuck these past it vets off

I don't recall seeing a men's 7s team playing worse. The players, skill, etc are all there, but just playing like numpties and don't seem to want to be there.

"Through the hands" doesn't seem to be the best attacking style either.

Amazing what happens when you start three talented 19 year olds and give them some rope.

    All 3 had top games

Comes down to it, who gives a fuck? I'm disappointed but don't care beyond any game/sport that NZ don't win. It's only 7s, and the worst of it is that the morons in NZR decided to give them the abs moniker. Now Uruguay have beaten the abs.

But still, as pointed out, this is another continuity pick destroying a great legacy in 7s.

Let's not fall into the trap of getting ahead of ourselves again...

The game against Fiji highlighted perfectly the problem with the AB7s. A decent start and throw away the game at 5-7 with mistake after mistake.

Kunawave showed his inexperience with some poor options. I was surprised that Cama started both newbie wingers. Not that it helped!

Hoping before the next tournament someone can introduce the ABs to the concept of tackling.

Some rookie mistakes by the newbies in the 1st half.

Mathis meekly going into touch twice, plus the bobble pass to Ware and the pass straight into touch is quite the achievement in less than ten minutes.

Also weird to have two guys out there with such similar names. Frank Varnookoo and Frank Vaenuku.

Not convincing at all. Vaenuku has a bad habit of getting himself isolated in the tackle.

Tip for the Oz woman commentator - it's not counter attack if you have the throw in to a lineout 30m from the try line.

Argentina looked bloody good in their SF.

Michaela has found the try line again.

Canada's Hogan-Rochester is a they? Shouldn't they be playing them sevens instead of women's sevens then?

Assuming the appropriate authorities ran a They-o-meter check ...
