Quite disappointing that super spots are basically sewn up before npc gets to it's latter stages. There are some rather uneven distributions between squads in many positions. Chiefs end up with a very strong Wtg that would be ranked higher than many players in other squads. Other squads are struggling.

And then there are kids who haven't even played provincial rugby who are pretty much promised Super contracts in the next couple of years.

Oh bugger. Sorry to hear that. I played with him at London NZ and worked with his mum Diana. RIP Shaver!
