The guy who got shafted was Narawa
Barely saw the field for the ABs this year then discarded
Bad timing with injury but I liked him.

For the whole 'why take 3' argument
The only try we constructed was Lakai's in the first 10 minutes (Roigard's was a piece of individual brilliance)
Counter-argument - how many tries are constructed nowadays without a penalty getting you deep into the opposition's half first?
Twice the All Blacks would've likely scored if Tamaiti Williams had found his man. Likewise, Vaa'i's offload which ended in a try to France. Did France construct many tries today?

His body language upon being told he was being dropped from the squad confirmed Razor's concerns.

Was he injured out of ABXV?

He got dropped between the July series and The Rugby Championship
Of course Reece didn't....

It's a five metre lineout with maul. If we're not confident being able to do that with a better lineout than theirs, heaven help us.

@DMX Tamaiti Williams has more pace than Reece
Yeah, you get the feeling that Reece’ pace is only suitable for the Fijian lawn bowls team.

In what world do the ABs kick to 5 metres out from the line from a penalty near halfway?

Yeah, it was two fold. Kick the 3, still behind and let France kick deep to us so we have to go 90 metres to win.

Was at the game, seemed even .
Would of kept Roigard on.
DMac first five -
Jordie Barrett's injury was very influential. His power in midfield had the French defense guessing. AJ Lam should have been on the bench instead of ALB. This year, young guys coming in thanks to injuries to "top" players have been a success (Sititi, Tosi, Lakai). So why not Lam ? ALB is so average.

Wallace Sititi and Tupou Vaii have been the players of the season. Tamati Williams and Asafa Aumua have taken strides forward. Caleb Clarke and Tyrell Lomax have gone okay.
But apart from that it doesn't feel like we are going anywhere. A rather disappointing season.
DMac has gone ok with more experience. Not just Vaa'i but also Patty T and Darry-we are now ok with locks. Lakai (does anyone want to go back to Cane, EB or Jacobson?) Tosi for bench-shaking impact. In the backs Cam R, Proctor and Love. In the future possibly Hotham as backup if Ratima doesn't work out.

@Billy-Tell Well, I think we are. We met an off colour Irish side and didn't have to do much to beat them, England we simply got lucky. Robertson has been let off the hook the first couple of tests. I see some massive problems with this squad and the coaching/calls. I hope I'm wrong, but it's not looking good.
Bollocks. We'd have been unlucky to lose.
I see definite development and I'm not seeing mid-Foster era ineffectiveness.

The one where Beauden isn't doing the kick to touch.
-
@Mr-Fish be nice if you are right. There's definitely some deadwood in there and I think it's a lot more than just those two. I've watched the AB's for over 50 years and I can't recall such a toothless, directionless team since 1998. We will improve I have no doubt, but I do not see the talent in this team we need to take on the best in the world so we need to hope there's some youngsters coming through. 10 is a massive problem for me.
-
I think it's time for the Barrett brothers gimmick to be put to bed. Scott isn't the answer at captain, Beauden is out of date by a couple of seasons and Jordie barely gets a pass mark.
The 3 points with 5 to go is a pathetic call.
Also, anybody know what Havilli has added to this tour? Instagram shows me he's doing nothing but playing golf? Probably best, if he were playing he'd be throwing intercept passes.

You forgot we made the Irish cry. Or was that whinge.
