    favourites one would think.

Negative three for 5? Surely overwhelming favorites

    Edit: Pakistan$1.07 to win

    Root still there though.

    That's why they're 1.07 not 1.02

England heading to a test series defeat in Pakistan. A great fight back by them.

Surely not even Pakistan can bottle this looming run chase (30 - 40 odd)

Pakistan score 14 off the first two overs. Nearly there.

Masood had a plane to catch. Finished off a nine wicket win with 23 (6).

Bugger. I was hoping to get up and watch Root and Brook take it to the Pakistani bowlers but overslept. Glad I did now.

ODI and T20 matches against Pakistan before the Indians arrive.
Aussie have a new ODI and T20 skipper as well.

The 2nd ODI between Aus and Pakistan is on at 4:30pm NZT today, for those that did not even realise the first one was on (like myself)

@nzzp should have been but Aus got the jitters during their chase and lost a flurry of wickets before getting to 204/8 with stacks of overs left. If Pakistan can put a decent total on the board, e.g. Babar goes big, then they are very chance.

On paper Aussies won by 2 wickets, but it wasn't that close.

England just lost series to the West Indies. The third match had a couple of oddities. Firstly, not super weird but a poorly timed injury meant that a part timer is had to bowl 3.5 overs at the death and predictably got tonked for almost 60. Secondly, and much weirder, another bowler got in a huff with the captain over field placements and walked off after completing an over to sulk in the dressing room, leaving on 10 on the field. He showed up again a bit later, then left again, then came back again. Ended up bowling out and taking 2/45.

Weirdest of all, both of those happened to the West Indies, who still won comfortably by 8 wickets with two centurions.

Well this is a spanking. Aussies unable to deal with Rauf again and bundled out for 163, now Pakistan 102/0 at drinks. Youngster Ayub started slowly but is striking it beautifully now.

Ayub out for 82 off 72, bit of a shame for him to miss his ton and Pakistan not to get the 10 wicket win, but means that we remain the only team to beat Australia by 10 wickets.

Pakistan are beating Australia all ends up. Ridiculous - very much a 'B' Aus side, but they can't handle the Pakistan bowling and are struggling to get them out.

It is very one sided in the last two matches. Pakistan 74/0 chasing 140-odd

I read some exerts in the newspaper. I never realised that his introduction to the NZ squad was so challenging. His BC career could have been over before it even began.
