We have been basically shit the last year or so, we were embarrassed in Sri Lanka just before this series. Kane is back at home, Southee fell on his sword as captain, Satnav probably wouldn’t have even made the tour if Michael Bracewell was fit..
All that in a mad cricket nation that has only lost at home 4 times since 2010 and hadn’t lost a series since 2012.
Not only did we win the first 2 tests but it wasn’t even close. And on such differing pitches.

Thanks! Didn't know we finished that high in LA and of course famously ahead of Australia, but it always has that gloomy specture of "it wasn't a full Olympics" hanging over it.
