I hate this thread. Each time someone posts I open it with trepidation wondering which player is moving overseas...

If a RWC, the Olympics and the Lions wasn't enough of an incentive for Charles I'm not convinced he leaves £££ in NI to come back to a Super Rugby contract and a possible AB jersey.

he will be close to 3 million up, come back to NZ on to 200k minimum. nothing to lose, give it 2 years. go back and earn few more million if he doesnt make it. i think he will come back
-

you are going to see guys getting hammered from harsh angles.

dont understand the tackler from 180 degrees rule. you really dont see a lot of that anyway imo.

but i think the tackler having to role away will be hard in 1v1 cover tackles. attacker will get an easy 2nd chance

so hard to ref the one metre behind even with a 2nd ref
-

as an individual or an organisation? Say a 'decent' S18 player was all juiced up, would it be easy for hiim to get past the tests or would he need more 'support'?

if he had legit pharma grade products from a docter he could cheat very easily.

it gets harder once they become nz elite and go on to the 24 hour watch programme where drug free sport can test you no matter where you are in the world any day of the year. even then lance had tougher testing than that but he also had a extremely good setup of docters and money
-

They didn't get Lance to test positive either.

lance had top of the line docters and a much larger drugs budget. but also his testing was much more difficult to dodge. the testing they do in rugby, if you have the money you can cheat quite easily, thing is there isnt a lot of money in rugby.
-

And in breaking-not-breaking news: everyone's least favourite Aboriginal Muslim Anthony Mundine belittles Jarryd Hayne's efforts.

http://www.news.com.au/sport/american-sports/anthony-mundine-explains-why-hes-better-than-jarryd-hayne/story-fnq2nnu6-1227549083964

Fuck, what a tool. At the end of that article it points out a few things that make Mundine look a right tool:

Mundine:

116 games for St George Illawarra, 56 tries, 11 games for Brisbane, 3 tries

Origin (NSW): 3 matches, 1 try

Boxing Record: 53 fights, 47 wins (27 KOs), six losses, World titles won: WBA Super Middleweight (twice), IBO World Middleweight, WBA Light Middleweight

Hayne:

176 games for Parramatta, 103 tries

Origin (NSW): 20 matches, nine tries. Australia: 12 matches, 11 tries. Fiji: 4 matches, 3 tries

NFL career: 3 games for San Francisco

So, no boxing, but Hayne has a better strike rate at all levels in League, has played for his country (no doubt Mundine has a conspiracy theory about that) and doesn't get half his victories in his new sport through beating up fat, slow, has-beens.

Fuck off Mundine. Or shut up. Or both.

I think he has a decent argument (to being aussies greatest) to be fair. his boxing record is very good especially as a crossover athlete and he was a very good league player. I think Hayne needs a decent crack at the NFL to be win this one. it really is a stupid argument though and hard to compare
He loves to talk shit but so does maywether and you cant say he hasnt been very succesful
