This was the most appalling match Nigel Owens has refereed....at least three yellows missed by head high and neck rolls by the Irish and the penalty try was absurd...Todd was hemmed in there against the post by an Irish player and couldn't get away even if he tried...lucky that wasn't a decision that could've effected the out come of the match. Dreadful performance from us. As Borthwick said right after the game: “they won all the collisions, offensively and defensively.” Says it all really. Our pack was anonymous. All the haters for Smith (and yes, he isn’t the answer) should recognise the soggy, sinking platform he had to work with.
As for France, they’ll give anyone a run in the RWC.
