Coke Zero
-
I was never really a massive coke drinker.... maybe a can with my lunch every day.. and maybe a bit over the weekend. But I changed to Coke Zero a couple of months ago.... and I ahve lost 5 kgs... down to 70 now...... Still dont think COke Zero is particularly good for you... but it definately has less suger.<br />
<br />
Anyone else tried it? -
Zero is great. I don't mind the flavour at all, but it can vary a bit from batch to batch. Have been drinking it basically since it came out, but only when I'm really knackered at work and need the caffeine hit. Someone told me it has more caffeine than regular Coke, and is aimed directly at Pepsi Max.<br />
<br />
Not surprisingly, when you use it as a mixer instead of regular coke, you get more of the flavour of the spirit you are using. Lack of sugar means it doesn't cloud the taste of the scotch/rum/whatever. Not sure how it goes with vodka.... -
I still think it has a tinge of the Diet Coke taste, but given those results it might be worth a go again for me.<br />
<br />
Or I could just stick to Mizone/tea without sugar/tap water, but Coke is my addiction...
<br />
<br />
Yip any form of coke cant really be good for you. But I got used to the taste of Coke Zero really fast, and I hate the taste of diet coke. -
I used to be a massive coke drinker and a few summers ago I decided I was gonna drink diet drinks because I was trying to lose weight. Switched to diet coke as part of healthy eating and lost 17 kilos in 3 months. Fell in love with coke zero when it came out, tastes almost like real coke but without the rotting teeth or calories. Agree with NTA though, the taste varies hugely from batch to batch.

It's Goooooooood. -
Meh, just drink espressi without sugar, you shower of poofs. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />
<br />
Diet Coke's a vice of mine I've pretty much given up on, not without a serious, serious struggle. Dilute acid can't be good for your teeth, no matter what way you slice it.Â<br />
<br />
Now, if I could only cut back on the insane-strength coffee I've been drinking by the bucket as a substitute, I might sleep sometime this century... <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blink:' /> -

Espressi? Do you stick your pinky out when you drink it, poof? <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blink:' /> -

You're the one who married into a family of Italians, hopefully they'll put manners on you yet, philistine. <br />
<br />
Doubles usually, as I'm now virtually immune to the hit from one. My caffeine tolerance has actually reached scary levels. -
Actually, they married into me <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />

Its taking a while to bring them around on Bundy Rum I must say :nta -

Come off it Baron, there is no such thing as a Kiwi male who weighs in at 70 kgs. Even Dan Carter is 91. -

Are you guys absolutely certain that the three cokes arent all the same thing just packaged differently like the three Duff beers (that all came out of the same pipe but were poured from seperate taps) that Homer found on the Duff Brewery tour?<br />
<br />
<br />
Diet Coke is seperate to any of the other drinks as it comes out of the Pipe of Evil Tasting Muck. -
pfft, only poofs drink non-full sugar drinks!! :fishing:<br />
<br />
Which might explain why I am 95kg... :shifty: actually have lost a few kg's myself, but purely from doing exercise and don't drink a great deal of that anyways, go through a few litres of water at work though a day -
