IMO it provides a better connection from club to province...I mean Kaliopasi Uluilakepa (from Wellington?) is a good example, came up here, has played well, become a bit of a cult figure at the club, even backed up for some reserve games prior to prems, and was offered a contract.
He had some wraps on him when he was down here but just seemed to be more of a penalty magnet.

@mikey07 I've enjoyed watching him play up here, dont recall him getting pinged (or at least standing out in that regard) he seems to enjoy himself out there, which helps!
Whether he can make the next step up remains to be seen, but he will no doubt get his chance in the NPC.

16 could be Shilo Klein,Sam Stewart down from the turbos or u/20 Player George Bell who I rate as a real prospect.
Liam Allen LF on the Crusaders radar and Zach Gallagher lock/LF u/20 player who is rated very highly by the Crusaders and may earn a contract for 2022.Could also get game time.

@southernmann I assume he was trying to get into the Canterbury squad, playing club rugby there, but this is awesome. I understand that they're struggling to get a full squad together (lots of injuries, including Marty McKenzie's). Glad they get a good player.
