@oleoleole yeah Waikato dev are playing BOP dev tonight in Matamata and the only reason I know is coz UMS rugby club shared it. I'll be heading to watch so I'll let you guys know if I spot any interesting players.

Last year's Waikato Development team had a lot of U19/20 players in it because there was no Jock Hobbs tournament.

I did see some photos of Waikato players at the Fieldays. All familiar faces from 2020.

@mikey07 The Turbos have been very actively signing returnees, older players, or fringe players from other provinces, but still reasonably good. They're definitely building a team that should be more competitive than last year's squad.

Likely Peter Russell's influence - from memory, he has a history of recruiting well

@bovidae UMS have Tana Tuhakaraina and Alex Thrupp invoved, Marist have Mason Tupaea, Kini Fonua, Quinnlan Tupou, Vern Sosefo, Quade Tapsell and Sam Pou involved....thats about all i've been able to find so far. I expect Hautapu and Fraser Tech will supply a fair few players.
