Wellington XV squad named to face NZ Under 20s

Head coach Leo Crowley has named a Wellington XV to go up against the New Zealand Under 20s in a pre-season fixture at the Hutt Recreation Ground on Wednesday 30 June.

I say bollocks to the need to have a rest. T. Plumtree has had 1 game for the Blues and C. Delaney 0 games for the Hurricanes. To me that is not being overworked in the slightest degree.

@higgins do you get annual leave in your job?

These guys pretty much can't take their leave between November and now.

They are employed and I'd say, as mentioned above it is written into their collective agreements that they get time off between the two seasons, when applicable.

Like those of us who sit in offices, work on building sites and do what ever else, these guys earn time off during the year.
