I think the only guys who didn't make their NPC debuts for Ta$man are Moli, Hunt and Reece. But Moli is a product of Marlborough College and Hunt is Nelson College.

They usually have a game or two to look at club players at this time of year. More like a pre-pre season to develop amateur and semi-pro players.

@chris-b the question is will Daryl continue his recent coaching history (most likely) or will the support coaches (all 4 support coaches) cover his ass? I can only hope we dont go backwards as losing is bad enough, but losing after spending money on failed coaches is a worry..

yeah, right. All those desperately average Crusader All Blacks turned coaches have worked out so well.
It's only weight of numbers that gives a couple of successes.
Getting an ex-crusader coach has a worse hit rate than signing ex-Melbourne Storm players

We simply have to hope that it takes more than 5 games for the ordinary to become part of the DNA

@mariner4life at least half our team won’t be in the injury ward by round two. You might aswell rule out Parkinson, Blackadder and Moli now. Looking like easy beats once you take them out.
