    Josiah Tavita-Metcalfe

    Well, that answers our question about where he's gone.

    A possible backline of Taumateine, Kerr, Leger, Molia, Fifita, Nabura, Laulala/ENS isn't too shabby.

    Lindenmuth and Laulala either side of Maka.
    Martin and Dunshea locking
    Read, Papalii and Hyatt back row?

    His Super Rugby debut for the Chiefs lasted 12 minutes. It looks like Kini Naholo will also miss the Mitre 10 Cup again.

    @Yeetyaah In 2019, he played the first three games. In the third game, he suffered a season-ending hamstring injury.

    That game was on last week, I skimmed through it

    Northland smashed everyone that year and averaged something like 40 points a game. Most of what I had remembered was the backs causing problems. I'd forgotten how tough that pack was.

    @Duluth pretty sure that was the season Holwell set the NPC season points record?

    What is awesome, is you look at both those teams who were 2nd Div sides and the quality of players back then!

    The final that had a result before the game was even played. Yes, I remember that one.

    Wasn't pleasant watching that.

    @Nepia I enjoyed it!

    I think the result was a foregone conclusion regardless of the NZR decison, margin may have been a bit slimmer.

    Yeah the regular season match was a thrashing too. They lost by 30 instead of by 50

    Yeah, Northland were on fire that year so I don't think the Vikings could have turned it around. But I knew a few of those players and they definitely had no wind in their sails after that decision.
