Following on from the lock thread, this is good news. Well over 2m, young and plays more like Retallick than Bird.

How did they get nthat past the Residents Association. SPeedway there is restricted to a very finite number of times they can activate the floodlights so the granting of a permit to use the Springs at night for this must have snuck through and caught them on the hop. No doubt all the NIMBYs will be consulting their lawyers to get the fixture canned.

They've got about 6 hours.....

Maximum allowable noise limit at Springs is 89 decibels. I am sure both teams will make sure the game is not exciting enough that the crowd make more than that amount of noise...

@Stargazer Charlie Gubb 👀
Good to see he appears to be making a good fist of things in rugbyI have seen him play twice and can concur that "appears" is the most appropriate way to describe his selection as there was pretty much nothing he did in the two games I witnessed that would justify me selecting him. He is miles too short for starters if he has been picked as a blindside, that being the position he played both time I saw him play.
I have also seen the number 22 play twice but know absolutely nothing about him whatsoever. I can recall remarking that there was not a lot of height to be seen in the MSP forward pack but without being able to put a name to the face cannot comment any further. He must be an OKish player if he is being selected ahead of former NZ Under 20s player Matt Peni from time to time.
