Only because they lost plenty. If you remove games the Blues were involved in their SOS was identical to all other NZ franchises.
 
I mean if you really want to look at it the Crusaders had a tougher schedule because it was identical to the Blues except they had to play the Brumbies away (and Reds at home), where the Blues played Brumbies at Eden Park (and Reds away). If both the Crusaders and Blues were even I would prefer the Blues schedule playing tougher teams at home and weaker ones on the road.

Foley rips the ball out and it's called a knock on by the Blues player. Last week TJP knocked the ball out of Foley's hands and it was called a knock on by TJP. 
It seems if you knock the ball out of a players hands and it goes forwards, it's a knock on by you. If it goes backwards, it's a knock on by the player with the ball. 
I'm struggling to understand the rulings on that.
