The Japanese prop has actually been in the team on merit for a few games now.

Rennie didn't wait long to rush Messam back into the team - although I expect he's been doing a bit of training with them!
-

Donald went off in Suva with a hamstring twinge so might not be 100%. He would have only been on the bench.

Only in the last week I think but Rennie indicated earlier in the week he would be in the 23. Messam has played for Hautapu in the last 2 weekends but hasn't played a full 80 mins yet.

That's an interesting loose forward mix for the Chiefs - Cane at 8 and two loose forwards on the bench. Who is covering lock?

Brown I would think but Sanders could be an option too. I will have to go to a practice to see if Tucker is fit. Nothing has been said about his unavailability for the last 3 games.
-

The Chiefs can bank this as a win. The only considerations will be bonus point and injuries.

-

nah, the Reds are always a challenge for us, especially in Brisbane. Reds weren't complete rubbish last week either.

This. The Chiefs have had some good wins in Brisbane but also some terrible loses. IIRC in the last game there the Chiefs got penalised a lot in the scrum.

Good to read we're taking our own ref (Briant) with us. ;)
-

They were well beaten by the Brumbies.
-

yes, but they weren't terrible, they were in the game for a long while.

I expect us to win, and if i was still tipping it would be a big margin, but i don't think it is a given, and i wouldn't consider it a shock if we got tipped over
-
The Reds drew to the Blues and beat the Landers in Brisbane. Chiefs red hot favourites but they still have to turn up.
-

Good to see Cane in starting lineup 2 weeks in a row for the Chiefs

These jokes never get old.
-
Time for the Chiefs to pick up where the Blues left off.

Good start lol

Great call.... they should all be policing that
