I went to South Korea for a trip last year. Women's golf was everywhere. Not actual golf at a course for the most part, but indoor golf whereby they whack the ball into a net and the computer registers the shot. Golf advertising, especially womans, was prolific.

@Rapido I'd say work ethic from a young age plays a part too.

About 15 years back a visiting Korean U19 golf team (mixed) played at my club.

They would practice for hours and hours, sometimes just over a 6ft putt.

Top 4 out of 5 boats go thru, looks like we made it into 4th on the line. Looks like the final was their goal

In the kayaks, as in the cycling, looks like the women have to carry the water this games. Carrington and the women's K4 final in 90 minutes

Just as well the men's K4 500m squeaked into the final. Otherwise the criticism would be greater.

Our Mixed Multihull crew are sailing soon for a medal. Currently fourth but I think we can get up to silver. Fingers crossed we get on the podium.

GBR jumped the start. Kiwis already into 3rd. Winds very light, Lester said the boats won't foil in this. Not sure who this suits

I don't know why the judges didn't tell them they were over. Let them get half way up the first leg and now they give them the hook. GB must not have heard the call off the line. Now we can focus on Argentina

GBR appear to not know that they jumped the gun. They are just racing. Seems to be that we are almost locked on for medal now.
