Kerr wasnโt even close to it. Heโs all done.
Well above his pb, but he's still young so hopefully he'll use it as a platform and build towards 2024.
Looking at the field, he should be targeting a medal at the comms next year (assuming that they happen).

The Aussie jumps a season best (or pb?)!
They said his PB is 2.36. 1 cm higher than this

This high jump is fantastic.
If only there was a crowd to watch it ๐

Triple jump looks like gold was won in the first jump. Venezuelan Yulimar jumps an OR and no one has got close since.

Something in the air, as there are PBโs being made on the track, triple jump and high jump.
Canโt ask for much more when it comes to performing at the Olympics

Did I tell youse about my hurdling career?
I entered the 300m (yes 300m) hurdles at school as a 14yr old. I had a clash with the triple jump (which I was fucking useless at) so missed my age group heat .
They sorted it so I could do a timed run with the senior kids. Great!
300m to run. 7 or 8 hurdles to clear.
I came last by about 230m. Probably the most embarrassing sporting thing I've been involved in.
Not sure what my time was, but I also didn't get a call up for my age group final.
Good times

Starc doing a passable impression of me trying to clear 2.39m

Hyde was in the lead and looking strong and then clips the hurdle and falls. Brutal.
