As someone who rowed at school (and that was my ceiling),I'm genuinely thrilled to see them win gold in the preeminent event. It's an astounding accomplishment for such a small nation.

Watching BMX semis. Doing ok

Not such a good run that time. Got a hard outside draw and squeezed out in the first corner.
Needs a good run in the last to make the final.
In 4th at present. 6 qualify

BMX talking about gears, apparently the Dutch world champ actually has 2! I assumed that fixed ratio was in the rules, but obviously not

Just need the sailors to pull finger and come close to what the rowers have done. So far not looking all that flash.

Peach was miles off the pace in BMX, but a huge crash in front of here, two went down, note not enough to go through they say. I wonder what the problem was, she was so far behind right from the start

Looked like she lost a foot before the first jump.
Apparently they use clips but MTB ones not roadie ones. That’s a lot of hard peddling on a clip not really designed for that use.
