Yup, I'll be honest, I tought Dagg was done and was silly for not taking the coin while he still could. And I was always a huge fan. Comprehensively proved me wrong there, incredible come back.

Goes to show if the guy is relatively injury free and still young there is no need to cast him aside in a hurry. When NMS comes back we are scary deep in terms of wing/15s again. Add BB to the mix and Shag has a whole lot of building blocks in place

Terry Wright's slug had its fans. He was fucking one of the Auckland cheerleaders back in his day. Probably just glided in and out of her in a similar manner to his running style.

Cheerleaders doesn't mean herald rugby writers BTW.

Don't think Savea was as bad as some have suggested. His horror start aside. Had some good touches and made a couple of nice tackles. Not at his best but I wouldn't drop him just yet. His replacement has hardly been flawless.

That's the key thing, Savea dropped a couple early & you could feel the "We hate Julian!" coming. Then when Nahalo came on he gave a tits for hands display Sione Lauaki would have been ashamed of...

I really felt for him when he dropped that first ball ,

Down on form and confidence ,wanting to turn it all around, and it started off like that

He and Dagg were both at fault for the first dropped ball.

And his replacement has been under the microscope too. Savea isn't anywhere near his top form, Naholo's form has nothing to do with that.

Hence the "not at his best but i wouldn't drop him yet" statement before the bit you highlighted.

It's a tough one in regards to Julian. Who knows what's going on. He could be having off field/personal problems that we don't know about. With Skudder also out the All Blacks haven't really missed a beat considering Dagg, Smith and Barrett are all in such scintillating form.

I don't really care who's starting for the All Blacks, aslong as they are winning and winning well is all I care about!!

Apart from Ardie, I really want to see Ardie get a start!!
