After the RWC I accused the team of being a bunch of overhyped, choking cockwombles. It gives me great pleasure to pass that crown on to a more truly deserving team. Even with England's football's track record in fucking things up, this performance was truly outstanding. Well done guys. -

<p>To be fair, back in 73 when England lost to Poland it really was one of those days - England could have had 5 that night. Much different to having no idea at all against Iceland.</p> -
I've been a fan of Spain in the tikka takka years (tikka takka is great if by a team you're supporting, but probably painful if you don't support them). But, I am glad to see that alternative kit no more. Disgraceful.<br><br>
What is it with kits the last 10 years? Do UEFA and FIFA have a policy now that even the shorts can't clash? So many times teams unnecessarily wearing alt kits, or their kits butchered by moving away from a traditional shit/shirt combo. Ruins the legacy.
