Barrett really is just looking like a super rugby journeyman so far. Hopefully he's just pacing his season.
Barrett the latest in a long line of All Blacks to just go through the motions in Super Rugby… I don’t really understand why he didn’t take a break until April.

Need to kick some arses, some players should pay when selection time comes around going forward.
Agreed Chris. McLeod and Aumua should be sent to club rugby after being totally outclassed by Toala & Patafilo, 1 of Hannah or Barrert should make way for your best lock Shalfoon, George Bower great guy but he doesn't need to be starting again anytime soon. Hotham probably better off as impact at this stage bring back Preston. Lio-Willie obviously back at 8, the young fella Anderson? Fed to the Wolves that are Savea and Faiilangi by Penney. Tough assignment awaits over in Fiji
Don't disagree on any of your post but there was enough starting players in there to win that game.
Hotham played Ok considering the shit ball he was getting from a passive forward pack who got out muscled.
Some players who are starters in the team didn't stand up Barrett,Grace,Blackadder were poor Hannah looked under done Anderson out of his depth,
O'Conner,McLeod and Amua were poor,Springer looked lost in the headlights,Jordan well he had no show with what was going on in front of him,
That performance was totally down to attitude or lack of it.
that's not taking anything away from MP who played their hearts out.
I would send a message to some players and send them back to holding tackle bags. -
@Chris I know they need to give players breaks, but Taylor at least should have started given he didn't play last week, seems they took them too lightly?
Once MP got a bit of a roll and confidence, gee they are fun to watch, similar to the Drua but not quite as flamboyant

Still was enough players in the starting 15 to win that game.
Yeah great for MP and the Competition I hope they go on and build on that win and push for a top 6 spot. -

Crusaders have had an easy run of games with almost all the teams they’ve faced being severely under strength. It will be interesting to see how they go against NZ sides at full strength going forward.
