Apple TV app
I think @Nepia was referring to Apple's media player box.
-
great, another piece of hardware
-
@mariner4life Well, you can extend the life of your otherwise fine TV.
-
the most affected TV is not even 12 months old!!
-
@mariner4life Well, there you have it ...

WTF! What type of TV, you should get at least a couple of years with the apps on a new TV.

I can't get past the fucking breakfast menu to get to the rest of the options

The problem with Hubbl is that while it is a clever way to manage all streaming and from memory you get a discount when you run a few through it, you still have to use kayo or binge, which are just shit apps. This is probably the main reason that the foxtel box product is still useful.

genuinely chuckled at that
after investing the frame tv, getting it mounted etc, i'm probably more included to get new hardware to keep it alive when app stop being updated

According to the Herald, another player has entered the market - Warner (Owns 3)
Possibly Sky getting ABs & SR with a FTA getting some simultaneous/small delay and also maybe NPC going FTA with a lower set up cost (one camera type thing I guess)
That sounds reasonable.

You can't put a sport on primetime FTA with just a one camera set-up, that would be insane.
-
A 1 camera set up would mean there will be no changing of camera angle mid-play, usually just as a player is running down the side line close to the try line. That really annoys me.
Save the fancy editing for the replay.I think it was the NZ v SA game last year where they changed to the side line camera just as some was about to score, but all we could see was the back of the touch judge.
Slightly off topic I know...
