Scotland v Australia

Kerevi suspended so Sua'ali'i should get another start
-
Bell looked weary. Team was a bit disjointed in the first half due to changes in combination.
And it's predicted to rain and/or snow.
It'll be tough

You’ve beaten two shit UK teams. Time for a real test.
Fortress Murrayfield will be full and the
South Africans, Poms, TongansScots will be ready to run riot.Scots were clinical dismantling Portugal, no reason they can’t destroy another minnow.
Scotland by 50.
-
Your Tongans are Australian aren't they?

He should be suspended too

never look forward to watching scotland usually but actually think this is the most interesting test of the weekend. Scotland are a good side, and we might get a proper measure of where this Aus team are - win and they may genuinely have turned a corner, lose and it may be a blip on their improvement journey or may be a sign that we got a bit carried away following wins against two teams who can't defend at the moment.

He may have Tongan heritage and have grown up in Australia but once a Scotsman always a Scotsman
-
Historically we always play close games against the Scots, and I expect this one to be similar. Wikipedia tells me eight of our last nine games vs Scotland have been decided by six points or less. The one outlier was when Scotland put 50 on us in 2017 after Sekope Kepu copped an early red card.
It will be a real test for us. I'm not expecting a win but I'd love to see us play smart rugby in cold/wet conditions. Strong defence and picking the right moments to attack.
We've got the pack to compete in a trench warfare style game, I think. And Lolesio is kicking well.
Prediction - 20-16 to Scotland but it could go either way.
-
I think the Aussie will win this one by 8-10 points.
-
I think the Aussies have got their tails up and are building in confidence, their attacking play has been excellent in the last 2 games.
Scotland also like to give the ball some air so I'm expecting a fast paced and entertaining game, I think Aussie will just shade the Scots and keep their grand slam alive. -

if it's open i firmly believe Australia have the better attacking athletes.
Of concern is the fact they shipped a lot of points to England, and even 20 to this iteration of Wales.
Could be a shootout
Possibly, Duhan Van Der Merwe only tends to score his ridiculous tries against England. He needs to branch out more

Scotland > England > Wales
Honestly, if you’re going to expose your ignorance like that sometimes it’s best to just keep quiet.

But then I won't be able to follow in your footsteps!
And I guess I should have inserted a trolling/trawling(?) emoji... -

They’ll beat Australia very comfortably

Aren't Australia playing their brand-new superhero?
If Scotland win, I'll concede. But if Australia wins the counting of shit UK sides will increase by 1! -

Stopped clock comes to mind 😉

Faessler out with a calf injury.

A few changes again
I’m assuming some shit journalist has gone on about how the new winger will be looking at weaving some spells on debut ?
Very tough game to pick this one….

How is it his debut? I'm sure I've already seen some shit jokes about "looking to unleash some magic on the wing".
Maybe at Super-Rugby level? I guess I'll have to think up some "LOL - both your parents were murdered" gags for the test-level arena. -

That generally means he will be on debut.
I don’t get the parents murdered gag because I couldn’t get through ten pages of the Harry Potter book my ex gave me to read on the plane.
I haven’t had this much fun with a Wallabies debutant since it was pointed out that Jack Dempsey will provide a lot of punch.
( younger non boxing fan ferners might not get that one )
-
Haven’t seen Aussie look this well coached since a long while. Early days but they are dominating possession and territory.
-
Australia giving away a lot of possession at the lineout. Constantly putting pressure on themselves.
-
Scotland player ran straight into him. You can't expect Aussie fullback to get clattered, he's bracing.
-
Scotland player should get yellow for being a dick.
-
Good refereeing.
-
United colours of Benetton come out for the second half meaning business.
-
what annoyed me a bit there was that the ref obviously only looked at it again because a) the crowd was booing and b) the Scot acted like a soccer player. Ref saw it live and waved it away but felt he had to make sure his decision was correct and went to the TMO. Don't really blame him but annoys me nevertheless
-
Loving the way the Scotland wingers are hungry for the ball.
-
That was a dreadful line kick from Lolisio from the penalty.
-
Scotland have defended really well. Didn’t see this at the start of the match but fair play.
-
poor defence from Wilson there. That should not have become a try
