i mean this is the next nail in the coffin of the Commonwealth Games, can't work out why triathlon would be cancelled, only need water and some road, 3 on 3 is a joke of a sport. netball is the only thing worth watching at the Commonwealth's IMO

They are an anachronism. So many of the sports now have apex events outside Olympics/ComGames - it gets harder to argue for them each time.

Com games feels more like a friendship games these days too. Sports like cricket and rugby could probably do without an extra event in an already congested calendar. Less viewed sports have a chance to shine in the years between Olympics, but I guess that means lower viewer numbers

they missed the chance to really make it fun. Get some traditional commonwealth sports and I'd watch the hell out of it

caber toss
log rolling
sheep shearing

the list would go on and on - niche sports that would rate on my home stream

You forgot cheese rolling. I used to love watching Sonny Bolstead and other legends chopping and sawing wood, the dog show was gripping back in the late 70s as a kid
