For some reason, I had it in my head that we were 3 days in and batting on day 4 with a lead of 300, so was thinking it would be good to declare around lunch...
Given it's only day 3 today, may as well bat to tea or so.
I did too but thereโs been quick run rates and no rain delays.
I think they need to bat til theyโre all out personally !
Probably need 4 sessions to bowl India out, depending on conditions.
I hope after you trounce them 5-0 at home this summer you have the good grace to thank us for warming them up

Bat all day and set 500

Yup. Crush their will to live if we can (it will weaken them for the final game), let our batsmen get some runs, set a massive total, and we can still leave ourselves 2 days to bowl them out

This would have been a laughable post even a week ago, but India are out of sorts and weโve lifted massively.
Sport sure can be funny and fickle !

That would be awesome
But 198/5Another 100 runs would be the most realistically we could expect I think
That would be 400 run lead. Would be a record breaking chase to get it. -

So which to watch and which to flick over to check the score - the cricket or the rugby?
Sorry about your NPC lads!
I was wondering the exact same thing as I clicked into this thread! It will be the Rugby for me.

The dumbest thing about the SkySportNow app is that you can only stream it on one device at a time, which is just so absurd as it just forces you back into the dark ages despite the technology available to have it on mote than one. I absolutely despise Sky for doing that. I have worked out though that if you just keep re-trying on each device when you get the message saying it's already playing on another, then often you can get through and it starts playing on both. So I'll try that and have both the cricket and rugby on.

Yep, and the pricks seem to have cut down the number of hours that you can go back on the schedule, from 24 to 6 (maybe 8 - not fucking enough anyway). Storage is so much cheaper now why are they cutting back the product, pissing off customers and for so little gain?
Rant over. Go "Craps" (seems unfair at present, but I'm not going to change anything that might jinx things).

Their app is so poor, they don't seem to have learned anything from the very good Spark platform

Doesn't the cricket start just as the NPC final finishes?
I've liked the strategy that the NZ batters have had for the spinners. It is almost a paint by numbers of sweep, reverse sweep or come down the wicket mixed with defence. Has been effective so far at disrupting their line and length and we've managed a very healthy strike rate without too many risks.

Perhaps I could get my 11 year old to cover the rugby thread. The instructions would be simple: bemoan the number of Crusaders players selected, have a crack at Razor for favouring them, and praise the performance of any Hurricanes or Blues player
