Robot Lawn Mowers

Thinking a robot lawnmower would be cool and something to impress my geek neighbours... Don't want one which uses a wire, but there are ones which use cameras etc to navigate.

Has anyone used one and what was your experience - good or bad?

@Victor-Meldrew I only bought a new ride on about 18 months back, but at the time I had looked at some robo-mowers and they seem to have improved remarkably since, and pricing come down too.

I know a guy who has a prototype Husqvarna robomower, and Husqvarna are monitoring its perfomance in NZ conditions, particularly on kaikuya grass.

This is one I been looking at and will seriously consider in another year or so, is priced at about 5k NZD
