Hahaha Marshall 'Tanaka is a great finisher'

I think you mean 'Tanaka, goes pretty well for 5 minutes if the Highlanders are up by plenty'

I said last week the Chiefs are not gonna get near the title with this forward pack. Apart from Retallick they are abysmal especially the loose forwards. Highlanders like the Sharks and Hurricanes before them have stopped them dead, made recycling a struggle while being able to recycle their own ball fast and easily. Really missing Liam Mesam. Sam Cane is probably a automatic All Black selection which is lucky for him.

I see you're still carrying on your one man battle against Cane from last week on PR.

Great post we havn't even been able to neutralise Naholo at the breakdown let alone the opposition loose forwards. While the Landers have recycled their own ball quickly all night.

Sam Cane has not looked the part in this game. He has in other games though so perhaps just an off night?

Michael Leitch has also been good in other matches.

Certainly something has not clicked for the Cheifs. I personally question our tactics. Some incorrect kick vs run decisions were made.

Well, that was all pretty easy.

At least that last try scorer was happy with the game and result by the looks of it

bloody entertaining game, and some great banter on here.

Hope Nagtai is not cited.

Lima better than Aaron tonight

Cane and BBBR seem to be alone out there at times.

Landers defense was brilliant and just played really selflessly. That's what they should have done to Sharks and Reds.

NZ conference is freaky good and making a mockery of this shitty conference system

It was his first touch and try in Super rugby. Nice moment IMO.

Who was the tackler that stopped Naholo scoring at the end? Same bloke? Great wheels, thought Naholo was away.

Good win in the end for the Highlanders, these NZ derby matches are going to start sorting the table out a bit.

    Agree 100%.

Rennie outcoached.

If Joseph can get a good performance out of L Whitelock then he's a genius.

Cane not looking AB material.

That smile from Ben Smith in the post match was quite telling when Sumo mentioned Naholo. He really means a lot to this team.

I dunno. I quite enjoyed watching the Chiefs give the Brumbies a hiding in Canberra, for example... :)

But yeah the pace of the game between the NZ sides is on another level at the moment.

I think a factor in the win was simply "the Landers had Naholo back".

The bloke scored two tries that perhaps some other wingers may not have scored, and was annoying at the breakdown all night.

TBH, I don't actually like them, I prefer supporting a NZ team over a foreign team (and the Crusaders of course).

All this does is tightens up the NZ conference...especially if the canes and Blues pick up wins.

Crusaders 37

Chiefs 37

Highlanders 32

Hurricanes 31

Blues 20

He just needs to settle it down a bit. Anyway, Chris Rattue was calling for him to replace Cruden as the Chiefs 10, which is always the kiss of death. Much like when he said Ben Smith wasn't any good...
