    <p>I agree with pretty much everything you have said but it seems the referees have been instructed to ref in this way given Zas got a red card and was banned on top of it.</p>

    Not unless the citing officer decides it should have been a RC. <br>
    Yellows don't go to the judiciary.

    Would be an even bigger farce if that's the case. There is clear criteria that says RC if player lands on head/ neck which Dixon didn't do.
