RM and big LF spring to mind.
I meant in 2024.
Not being a smart arse, but have the Chiefs, Hurricanes and the Highlanders? I really can't recall.
Beauden Barrett went North when he still had plenty to give. ๐

No I can only think of the Blues. Oh hang on, Harmon (who I liked), but apparently his form has fallen off recently.

If BB wanted to go back to the Canes would they still want him?

Hoskins has advised the Blues that 2025 season will be his last in NZ
I can't like this!
Have the Crusaders lost anyone overseas still young enough to be serious AB contenders?RM and big LF spring to mind.
Without giving it much thought guys leaving is not new, to the Blues and other teams. Afoa, Faumuina, Blowers, Luatua and Piatua are examples of Blues who left with more to offer, and a couple of them may have been attributed to lack of selection as well.
Those two didn't leave because the coaches are retards who wont select them, they left to increase their bank balances.

Didn't try to claim otherwise.

I was just pointing out the main difference between those two and Sotutu.

Hell yes.

I hope we don't have BB at 10. I don't see us winning another title with him in that role. I'd rather it be Plummer or Perofeta.
Plummer gets the 10 spot for me. Barrett and Perofeta can compete for the 15 jersey.

Yeah it will be interesting to see which way they go. As someone wondered above, maybe the 50/50 selection calls should go in favour of the one staying? From an AB perspective I am almost leaning towards wanting to see Perofeta given an extended run.

@KiwiMurph said in Blues 2025:
Can't blame Plummer or Sotutu for leaving.
If the ABs weren't going to pick either this year they weren't getting a look in under this coaching set up.
I'm just glad we won a title. I suspect 2025 will not be so good for the Blues.
They're still there for 2025. For next year, it's only Akira Ioane that needs replacing.

Cotter re-signs -
โThe season being dynamic and demanding there will be opportunity around game time. Harry did an outstanding job last year. Beauden is coming back heโs conscious he has to work his way back in โ itโs not going to be given to him.โStephen has stepped in at 10 as well. Zarn will play multiple positions โ he could be in the midfield.โ
