We stand a chance if we turn up for the third half...

Plummer for back up 10 or is Beauden locked in?

BB at 15 but covering 10 I would say.
But as a pure 10, Plummer looks to be better.

If McKenzie is NZ's best first five, we have serious problems.

    Hard disagree.

DMac is our best First Five and a Test quality 10. Beauden Barrett and Harry Plummer should be the backups. Then we have serious problems.

The Blues have been excellent tonight.

Really pleased for Caleb Clarke. He's a superbly talented player and a classy individual who has taken far too much unnecessary shit from some quarters.

His work rate is impressive, which is a complete turn around from a couple of years ago. He’s clearly done the mahi, now getting the treats.

DMac has a good ability to put players into space. When he has front foot ball he take on the line and delivers very nice passes.

If he can get over his yips in the Black Jersey he could do well.

For me, Plummer backup 10. BB to cover/start 15.

Yep, done enough to keep the AB 13 jersey. Proctor will have to wait.

I like that, but I also like Proctor. Hope to see both in Black.

The Blues' gameplan is so well executed but I think what Vern has identified is that NZ Super sides (and OZ ones) don't really know how to handle the direct gameplan defensively.

It as much about the weak close-in defence at Super level as anything else.
