Mix things up. Take the mickey a bit out of these last two games. Give some guys a chance to do things they wouldn't normally do. No point rolling out Conway, Williamson and Southee. Will one of these last two games end up being a pub trivia question around Trent Boult. Who did he play his last international against... PNG!

I literally didn’t even know Uganda and PNG even had cricket teams. Afghanistan have been around for a bit ( and obviously beaten us ) but this is all new territory.

I think open the batting with Southee and Henry, both are capable hitters who probably don’t give a fuck about their stats and it means we can bat REALLY deep if need be.

Conway bats 11 to rebuild his confidence ( ie hopefully not actually bat ) and because we need a keeper.

KW sits this out because T20 is stupid and he’s a test player.

….and to think the fern has always had a go at Southee about not caring about his batting

If Conway opens there should be blood on the walls at NZC

Inspired choice given how well the last two games went

Had we batted first, this is the sort of game where Allen would have flattered to deceive.

Yeah I’m not sure the logic here. Surely they’d want to save face and try and post a massive total ?

3/3. Wickets falling fast and run rate standing still so far.

    Chasing 41

That’s why you bowl first in these matches. More time for after match drinks

The decision to not play warm ups might have made more sense if this had been our first game.
