Euro 2024

@MiketheSnow and they left arguably their two most creative players at home
-
I rate Switzerland a chance. If they like they did vs Germany and Italy they’ll be a good chance.

England have showed exactly zero sign of playing to their potential, so I rate Switzerland favourites
-
Spain Georgia is a fantastic match so far.
-
Maro Itoje is having a fantastic match for Spain on the left wing.
-
Congratulations England
You jammy bastardsGreat tournament for Georgia

Wow, if you want to watch a team just pass between their back three all day then watch England. Devoid of any ideas of how to break down the formation in front of them, but every punter and commentator seemingly could see it. How could a team of champion players be so bad as a team?
Part of me feels they can only improve and with those players you would think they would have to, but they are so far off right now. Its like watching an old episode of Fawlty Towers. The irony is though, they are still there and Basil is saving his moves for the Germans. (note I do know the swiss are up next)

Not as braindead as these fuckwits

I've heard of fairweather fans but fairweather drinking fans is taking it a bit far.
-
France v Belgium
Two teams playing not to lose
Shits me
-
Must have heard me
Both trying to win it now
But extra time still looks likely
-
@MiketheSnow Sums up international tournaments 95% of the time.
-
France with a lucky deflection to go 1-0 up with about 10 to play
-
France win 1-0
Unbelievably they haven't scored a goal from open play (today's was a massive deflection and should be classed as an own goal) and they're in the QF
-
Sesko threw that away for Slovenia.
-
Portugal Slovenia match was an absolute cracker of 0-0.
Ronaldo is learning the hard way that scoring goals for fun in the Saudi league doesn't mean that you still have it. I would honestly expect a Championship striker to have been on the scoresheet at least once with the chances he had / gave himself.
