They comms are pretty down on WI but I think they've done enough to be competitive on a poor pitch.

SURELY our batting line up can’t shit the bed as bad as a few days ago.

120+ is difficult on a pitch with variable bounce. We'll do well to chase this down.

Williamson has had a shocker here managing his bowlers. They could sneak to 150 in a worst case scenario

If he was any more passive, he'd be Tom Latham. Somehow we've ended up with some pretty pedestrian captaincy options.

Wonderful innings from Rutherford and WI have done brilliantly to get such a big total on this pitch. They are hot favourites now.

We'll never chase down this mamoth total!! Why it's over twice as many runs we scored in our first game..

I don't understand how we managed to end up needing Mitchell to bowl the 19th. Awful.

I'd like to think that being useless and bundled out of a World Cup early might shake up NZ Cricket.

But given what NZC have tolerated over the last two home summers, and how they also run the White Ferns, it's probably wishful thinking...

Ending up with Mitchell and Santner bowling the last two overs is an absolute fail as a captain.

Mitch and Mitch get smoked at the end.

Kane tried a BMac - bowl out your best bowlers and hope not to have to use the weak links. Unfortunately, the best bowlers only got nine wickets and Rutherford was there to punish us at the end.

We need 37.5 edges past the keeper to thrid man or past the stumps to fine leg to win this game, which I fear is 17.5 edges too many...

We'll likely manage ten inside edges onto middle & leg...

The same reason we didn't have a warm up game. Absolute clown operation

Gambling on santner bowling the 20th I wouldn't have minded as much when they're 7 down with 5 overs to go. So give santner the 16th, leaving the 19th for neesh and 20 for Santner. But to be forced to bring on a cold bowler who is at best a mediocre part timer to bowl is criminal.

Looks like it should have been Matt Henry for Santner.

Oh shit, when I posted it was 112/9 and I thought it was all over. Awkward.

Chasing 150 ? Yeah no chance, book the flights home boys, we’re fucked.
