Brumbies v Crusaders

How thrilled would you be to have a teammate cost you the game doing something so dumb?

Can we safely say the Saders chance for the final 8 are gone?
Now THAT is a ( cheaply and quickly made but still very funny and effective ) Sports Meme !

Good to see Hotham starting to grow into a Super Level halfback. Still a way to go for the kid but over the last few games I think he has showed promise.
-
@Crazy-Horse He's looking very good after a shaky start to the season. His running game has been very good.
Drummond can't even get a run off the bench these days.

Strange must have been watching the 1985 Ranfurly Shield game recently, and decided if John Kirwan could get away with it in the dying seconds of that game, then why not him 39 years later?
-
Only one outcome from the Strange brainfart.
Two things stand out from this match which seem to highlight the problems the team is having. When Strange didn't catch a high pass in midfield, he threw his hands in the air in frustration, and started walking with his hands on his hips. WTF? This isn't club rugby. Where is the attitude?
Second, Crusaders scrum on top going towards the Brumbies tryline and they release the ball. WTF? There is a serious lack of decision-making in this team. -

@Bones I thought it was a penalty try, Strange denied the Brumbies chaser a chance to get there by doing something completely illegal. A dumb play.
Could be wrong, but isn't foul play in the in-goal area immediately just a penalty try?
Foul play to stop a try, regardless of whether a try would have been scored, is surely exactly what the first part of the sentence is, which by any measure should be a penalty try?

@nzzp He had to release or reach out.
Why does he have to release when he was never held
But he never got back to his feet. He was OK to stand up, but not propel himself forward on the ground.
