He just needs to stay fit. Depending on Tucker's future, tall locks isn't an area of strength in the province. Some young players got a chance last year but they are more 6s than locks.

Spoke with Hamilton Burr last Friday and he said he had re-signed for Waikato that same day.

I know that some of the younger players are playing overseas so I assume they will be back too.

Spoke with Solomone Tukuafu today at the Waikato women's club final. Said he'd be back for Waikato again this year, and further he'd be back for HOB in a couple of weeks.

Also had a good source confirm that Josh Moorby has signed with Waikato. Bit of an interesting situation brewing here if he has got out of his France contract.

Doesn't the Top 14 kick-off at the same time as our NPC? If he's signed for Waikato, I'd say he's got out of his contract with Montpellier.

@Canes4life @Yeetyaah he signed with Waikato back in about Jan/Feb I believe, a bit before he signed his French contract.

Was all a bit odd to be honest, and possibly why Waikato not made a point of announcing it?

That's happened before.

Damn, at 25 I feel like he's leaving way too early and could probably negotiate a better contract in a couple years especially if he made the ABs. I know Razor is a fan based on a comment he made about him a during the Super season. He had real potential to become the next Ben Smith, Cory Jane type player. Really strong defensively and reliable on attack (even though he dropped that ball in the semi final against the Chiefs).
