@frugby I definitely don't think the Waratahs will be that high, and the Canes that low. I would go:

- Crusaders
- Hurricanes
- Brumbies
- Rebels

- Drua
- Waratahs

I doubt the Reds and Brumbies will be that bad, nor the Canes that good.

@antipodean maybe swap the Brumbies and Canes. They were pretty even last year.

If preseason I have seen etc, I will be surprised if Blues aren't knocking on door of final.
I am prepared to make a real dumb prediction too, by end of season Jacomb from Chiefs will be getting a fair bit of attention. I know I a Naki man etc, but he just seems to be getting better all the time. I would of been happy if Canes had picked him up. -

Didn't consider that... the issue for the Drua though, is they don't travel well. They need to improve that I think. My guess is that all the New Zealand sides will be beating each other this year, and the Aussie sides should pinch a few more games, so the mark to make the 8 might be more like 6 wins.

Agree. One of the Aussie sides will be in the Top 4 for sure, it is the way the draw works. I actually think the New Zealand sides could conceivably finish any order. I reckon they are going to be quite close for a variety of reasons.

12 Moana PasifikaChiefs to beat Blues in the final (tight five depth is a big issue for Blues). Crusaders 9 and 10 not good enough, despite a great tight five. Havili to spend some time at 10.
Rebels to stop existing at seasons end, and players and coaches will be focused on securing new contracts.

I still think too many people are underestimating the Reds.
