ouch NBHS
-
@Stockcar86 Just read on their FB page that 8 players from the NBHS 1st XV team were unavailable due to injury, including their captain Josh Bokser and vice-captain Humphrey Sheild. Not sure whether they could have beaten Hamilton if these players had been available, but surely the score wouldn't have been that bad.

@Stargazer
We toured and played blackrock when I was at Lindisfarne. Really crazy history I think they had won about 90/110 ireland schools comps. Had about 1400 and 42 rugby teams. Think they beat us by about 20 points....ironically they asked if we were one of the top schools in the bay. We were like yeah HBHS only beat us by about 80 and NBHS by about 55.In other news http://www.nzherald.co.nz/hawkes-bay-today/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503460&objectid=11890233

@Magpie_in_aus Bit early for stuff like that to be posted.
-
@Nepia that was stolen from an ex HBHS boy so don't blame me its them drinking the Kool aid! Pretty amazing though isn't it. Considering that doesn't include the Naki game the other day and potentially some others and pretty sure the 50 points includes 3 games in 7 days

I'm just hoping they can go all the way this year!

@Magpie_in_aus 2004 - I know the coach of that team pretty well and they were cruising before half time.
-
@Nepia half the team are my mates heard a certain hooker shat the bed in the second half and didn't take control. That team was pretty special would love to see this current one playing. Those 02-04 NBHS vs HBHS battles were some pretty amazing teams.

That's definitely not what the coach says ....
That certain hooker pretty much carried the team in the games I saw them play in his couple of years (A particularly spiteful Hamilton Boys game where the ref acted like Garces, Rotorua, and Tauranga. I was living up in the Tron at the time so would go along to their away games). Carried might be too strong as they had some class performers across the field, but he did a lot of work that others should have been doing.
My cousin's kids were in the generation just above this lot ... they're gutted.

@Stargazer apprently the Lindisfarne game was 14-0 after the first half. Will they televise the HBHS vs HBHS game next week will be huge.
-
@Magpie_in_aus According to the TV schedule that they published early in the season, Sky will probably televise the Super 8 Final on Sat 12 August (not the 5 August game). Hopefully, they won't change their mind. Would be awesome if it's a home game.
