That's the full time score. I understand that they'll play New Plymouth Boys next week in NP for 3rd place.
Afa Moleli scored all the points for Napier Boys. I don't know how old he is, but I hope he stays in the Bay if this is his last year at school. A good number 10 from the HB production line, again.

The Napier TH prop just got sent off with a YC (not sure what for), so expect Hamilton to score soon ...
It was a red card for a headbutt. Last week's game wasn't a true reflection of the difference between these teams so I was expecting a tight tussle.
However, this was an ugly game to watch, not helped by a ref who has a reputation of finding penalties out of nowhere. A RC to Napier and then 3 YCs in quick succession for Hamilton meant it was 14 vs 12 in the 2nd half.
Moleli was very good for Napier but the best player on the park was Hotham, who either scored or setup every Hamilton try, and saved a try under the posts himself. Hamilton started poorly again and made more handling errors in the 1st half than they have all season.

Interesting to read that Napier Boys' wing Bethel Lutele-Malasia is Neria Fomai's nephew. Just finished year 12, so both he and Afa Moleli will be back for Napier in 2021. I think a few more from this year's team will return, but maybe not their best player, Jayden Stok. I really hope we're not going to lose him. I'm sick of our best young players being poached by other unions.
This is from the second article below (behind paywall):
Stok is in discussions with the Hawke's Bay, Otago and Ta$man rugby unions over where he will play next year, and is heading down to the South Island in the next month or so to get a feel for the different environments before making his decision.

This year, only Hastings Boys are competing at the Condor 7s open boys and u15 boys tournaments, and Hastings Girls at the u15 girls tournament.
So no Napier Boys (or Lindisfarne, who were there, last year). I don't know what the reason is, money or that not enough boys are interested, but it's a pity that Napier Boys doesn't compete at the Condor 7s anymore.
Anyway, Hastings Boys will be playing four games, today:
11.20am v Tauranga BC (field 2)
1.00pm v Kelston BHS (field 1)
4.20pm v Pukekohe HS (field 3)
6.00pm v Christchurch BHS (field 2)Games at field 1 are televised and broadcast on Sky Sport 1, but games on all field are also streamed live on youtube.
