Half time: Palmy Boys 15 (5 penalties) - 17 (3 tries, one con) Hastings
One of the Hastings' locks went down injured at the end of the half, too.
Hastings is clearly the better team, but their ill-discipline and the ref are keeping Palmy in the game. Very frustrating.
Hopefully they pull away at half time. My mate is a ref if Palmy and usually goes to these games (he usually runs the subs etc) - I've text him to see what's up but no response yet.

And Hastings are on a roll now! Ah Kiong brilliantly catches a high ball, offloads, and Mefi Tupou scores his 3rd try!
31 - 15 to Hastings after 53 minutes.
YES!!!!
Cheers for the updates!

It's quite interesting that all three schools representing the Hurricanes region at the Top 4 are not from Wellington. The Girls and Co-ed schools are from Manawatu and the Boys from Hawke's Bay.
In 2015, a Wellington school (Scots) made the Boys Top 4 for the last time.
Hurricanes schools in the Boys top 4 since 2000 (winners in bold):

2003: Napier Boys (lost the Final to Rotorua)
2004: Hastings Boys
2005: Palmy Boys
2006: Gisborne Boys
2007: Gisborne Boys
2008: Wellington Coll
2009: Napier Boys
2010: Gisborne Boys
2011: Napier Boys
