Lindisfarne have spent quite a bit of time near FDMC's try line, but haven't managed to score. FDMC's only try was scored against the run of play. Lindisfarne also don't seem to have the ref on their side.

What looked like a great Napier attack ends in one of their backs passing straight to a Tauranga player. Tauranga's clearance kick doesn't go too far. Napier line-out on Tauranga's 22.

Napier's maul was good at first, but Tauranga disrupting it, but illegally. The resulting penalty, ends with a Napier player throwing the ball into touch. I hope it's not again one of those matches they're going to lose due to handling errors. They look better.

The Hastings game is underway now, too.

Man, that scrum in the Hastings game took ages. Unfortunately ending in a scrum penalty to Gisborne, who now have a line-out deep into Hastings half. Hastings steal it! The clearance is okayish. Gisborne line-out.

The kick is ... good. Gisborne takes the lead: 3 - 0.

Hastings looked to launch an attack via lock Josh Leach, but he's penalised for holding on. Gisborne clearance and line-out 10m into Hastings' half.

Oh, shit, now Hastings' halfback makes a big mistake and the ball ends up in the hands of a Gisborne player who scores!
