Cummins complaining about the wind. Mate, it's a light breeze atm.
-
Why didn't we go Wagner over SK?
-
We are banking on early wickets bowling first or we will get behind the 8 ball very quickly having to bat last.
Comon lads! Knock em over!
-
That last ball swung in and then seamed out. Unplayable.
-
Getting plenty of movement, often too much to get close to the edge.
-
They didn't appeal because he didn't hit it lol, bloody comms
-
@No-Quarter Yeah - I thought it looked well worth while going upstairs because it wasn't clear and obvious it had touched the ground!
-
The Australian openers seem to be weathering the opening hour really well.
Which is worrying since this is theoretically when the Black Caps should have the greatest advantage.
We might be facing a troubling first innings score. But, hey, its test cricket. Things can change in a hurry (he says with optimism in his heart)

Too many short/wide balls that can easily be left. When it's moving this much you don't need to overdo it - put the ball adjacent to the stumps and make the batsman play.
Plus the best way to get Smith and Khawaja early is LBW. How many balls so far have been hitting the stumps? I'd wager less than 10.

No wickets yet put Aussie firmly on top at this stage. Still, a couple of quick wickets can change things very quickly, but Aus will be very happy right now.
