not only do we suck again, it's starting to de-legitimise that test championship. Aus didn't make the final thanks to a slow over rate penalty, and during the "league stage" they absolutely belted us. I totally get why they scoff at that win.
Well, it is easy to be awesome bowlers if you never get puffed. Get those over-rates up to the minimum, cheaters.

Henry getting it to seam a mile like Hazlewood. Should be an interesting battle.

How good is Southee's batting?
fluffybunny never dies wondering.
Better then his bowling currently
Least Smith is having no better time then Kane is run scoring wise

Why bring Southee back when you've just had a drinks break and Henry & Sears are bowling well
Better ask the skipper 😀
-
Skip is bowling well too
Consecutive 4s from Green -

Pales in comparison with England robbing us of an ODI World Cup.
As @rapido says - run in faster you lazy fucks.

Not sure which annoys me more. The Southee medium paced floaty half volley that gets driven for 4 or the medium paced long hop that gets pulled for 4.
Henry is mirroring Anderson nicely - used to be good only with the new ball but can deliver for the whole innings as he has got older.

Henry being the best bowler and Southee and Kuggs being ordinary was 100% to script.
It’s funny how things change, only a couple of years back Henry was firmly 5th choice if that.
I’m thrilled the young fella Sears got such an important wicket first up but the jury is still out obviously.
Speaking of the jury being out is it too unfair to be disappointed in Ravindra at test level overall ? I only heard it on the radio but sounds like it was an appalling piece of cricket. So much hinges on how he goes second time round.

@MN5 Cricinfo tells me Matt Henry has averaged 24.61 over the past 4 years - that's pretty much world class.
I think Ravindra is locked in for the next decade - but, today's effort is probably what comes with young guys learning their trade. Disappointing, but you have to suck it up - similar with what we'll get from Sears and O'Rourke over the next couple of years.
Another pretty disappointing day. Realistically, we're only 3 wickets behind the game - but Oz can - and probably will - use those three wickets to hurt us badly.

We’ll see.
I remember ( in no particular order ) McMillan, Greatbatch, Sinclair, Ryder etc all starting with a hiss and a roar and things petering out.
Henry is doing the fine wine thing as a bowler. I hope it continues
