@NTA who do you recommend we hate on now that Davy Warner wont be playing the tests? (just the T20 slap and giggles stuff) or do you recommend we hate on all of them.
I think hate on all of them then figure out which ones you find merely distasteful. Work your way down.
Also im assuming your current wicket keeper is 'smart arsey rubs everyone up the wrong way' kind of guy?
He seems nice to me?
One last question, has Steve Smith stopped crying over the time he cheated using sandpaper.
Probably not. Suggest leaning over the fence and tell him he ran out of batting gloves. See what happens.

Surely Virgil is far too grown up to be heckling Aussie cricketers

The Australians were subjected to personal and derogatory remarks, prompting Warner to criticise the crowd’s behaviour. Speaking at the time, Warner said what the crowds said was “pretty derogatory and pretty vulgar”.
Apparently Warner thinks that derogatory and vulgar behaviour isn't OK - if it's directed at him.

I remember having derogatory and vulgar verbiage delivered against me whilst playing the lofty heights of under 85kg club rugby. By golly gosh it's nice to have something in common with an internationally famous, incredibly rich sports star.

Super starts too early. FFS. It's Cricket season, and still summer.
Been waiting for this comment all offseason. There it is. Like clockwork.
every year it's too early. I feel for the players. 'winter sport'
Look at the bloody NFL. They don't start till Autumn, and they're done at the start of spring.

Marcus Stoinis out of the 20/20s with a back injury replaced by Aaron Hardie
Hardie has now been ruled out due to injury so Spencer Johnson comes into the squad. Keeper Matthew Wade will miss the 1st match of the series to stay behind for the birth of his first child.

Very good bowler. Good pace.
Yeah he bowled pretty well in the BBL for the Brisbane Heat. I think he will trouble the kiwi batting lineup for sure with his pace. Hopefully he gets a chance with Cummins, Hazelwood and Starc also in the squad.

Watched a very good video on how the NFL's "socialism" makes it worth so profitable. We think 16 games isnt' many but jeez they make it pay.

Game 2 will clash with the Chiefs-Crusaders game.
Lucky I’m a Hurricanes fan who doesn’t watch much Super Rugby I guess
International Cricket vs Australia will always trump Super Rugby.
Especially in fucken February.

it's scarcity. 8 home games, plus maybe a playoff or two - and that's it. Easy to plan, easy to commit to and build a proper fan base

Rugby. Late Feb to November - it's nuts. Saturation. After some level, more isn't better.

Sounds like some big crowds expected.
David Warner and his Australian team-mates face New Zealand in the Twenty20 opener at Sky Stadium, with local officials tipping the attendance to soar past 20,000 - if not threaten capacity of 30,000. And demand is soaring for the second and third T20 internationals at Auckland’s Eden Park on Friday (7.10pm) and Sunday (1pm). NZC expects a total of 50,000-plus people to attend the two matches. It said 30,000 tickets had already sold as of Monday, and there was a chance the Eden Park cricket capacity of 40,000 could be threatened on Friday night.

That’s what happens when it’s not Bangladesh or Sri Lanka I guess
