Black Caps v Australia

Feel for Jamieson, he just can't seem to get a lucky break - only bad ones
We had a golden period with Southee and Boult being able to hold everything together but but our attack seems rather thin. Again we will have to hope that Williamson moves mountains once more so we can bat time and post decent totals.

Yeah but every batsman whose name isnât Don Bradman has peaks and troughs. Heâs just got three hundreds on the trot and judging by the shakiness of the rest of the top order heâll need more just to compete with this Oz team.

@MN5 Yeah true however at this stage I have more faith in our batting line up than our bowling.
And as a casual fan I must say I really under-estimate just how good Williamson is, when you take a good look at his record it's not like he's just one of the best in the world but he's starting to join that list as being one of the best of all time, he's up there in some pretty prestigious company (well D Warner and S Smith aside :-))

Equally shaky I reckon.

Fuck
Starting to look like
Jacob OramShane Bond in disguise. Just can't get him out on the field enough right nowFixed it. Jamieson isnt quite the X-factor bowler that Bond was but he could have been the spear head of our next generation of bowlers. With Boult preferring T20, Wagner and Southee nearing the end of their careers he could have taken over the main bowling role
still can i suppose but generally bowlers who struggle with back injuries never get over them. The analogy wasn't perfect, and of course Kylo is 10x the bowler JO was

what it is is yet another example of a special talented cricketer who's career is likely to be wrecked by injury

@NTA who do you recommend we hate on now that Davy Warner wont be playing the tests? (just the T20 slap and giggles stuff) or do you recommend we hate on all of them.
Also im assuming your current wicket keeper is 'smart arsey rubs everyone up the wrong way' kind of guy?One last question, has Steve Smith stopped crying over the time he cheated using sandpaper.
-
Man that sucks about Jamieson, such a huge loss. The pressure he consistently applies to batsmen makes mistakes from them inevitable, whether they make the mistake against him or another bowler. Very Glen McGrath like and would end up with a similar record if he can get his back right.
-
@No-Quarter his bounce was ridiculous. Any mishit carried up somewhere. Unusual, and bloody good. We will miss him massively

I think hate on all of them then figure out which ones you find merely distasteful. Work your way down.

He seems nice to me?
One last question, has Steve Smith stopped crying over the time he cheated using sandpaper.
Probably not. Suggest leaning over the fence and tell him he ran out of batting gloves. See what happens.

Surely Virgil is far too grown up to be heckling Aussie cricketers

The Australians were subjected to personal and derogatory remarks, prompting Warner to criticise the crowdâs behaviour. Speaking at the time, Warner said what the crowds said was âpretty derogatory and pretty vulgarâ.
Apparently Warner thinks that derogatory and vulgar behaviour isn't OK - if it's directed at him.

I remember having derogatory and vulgar verbiage delivered against me whilst playing the lofty heights of under 85kg club rugby. By golly gosh it's nice to have something in common with an internationally famous, incredibly rich sports star.
