Bowled the big show !!!?
How far are you behind?
My internet let me down. I was up with the play

Milnes last 2 balls were not good. That was probably the difference.
Oh well.
Many differences really.
Crap batting by Dev and Ravindra.
Slow starts by Phillips and Chapman.
Some absolute pies and crap wides by Santa, Ish and Timmah.

Out of that game it's occurred to me that NZ batters need to hit good balls for boundaries, the Aussies just had to wait for the dross.
Reckon we lost that through bad play, rather than them wining.
At least it was close ...
Fuck ...
..top up my wine ...

Fuck sakes, how did we leak 29 runs from the last 9 balls?
Must thank the Aussies for playing Conway into form though.
Not sure they did ...
Scored a few runs but looked ordinary doing so.

FIFY
I do agree though, I wonder how much (even though none of them want to admit it, is the mental block), especially when under stress

Fielding the difference. Three dropped catches mean we were up against it.
We have no excuse for not being near the top in fielding. Our quality has dropped right off - then the batting/bowling can stack up.
Small grounds mean run rate isn't as scary as you'd normally expect. Hell, edges go for 6. I'm disappointed, but we were competitive (if a little lucky at times)

Shit I get embarrassed at how NZ sports fans treat some touring Australian sportspeople

Yeah - Marsh and David were well capable of scoring the 35 they needed off the last two overs.
After Milne's first three balls, I thought he just needs to bowl one more that doesn't go to the boundary. Unfortunately, he got smoked.
Timmy did well to take it to the last ball - though Marsh should have put the full toss into the stand.
Some of the early overs by Santner and Sodhi were pretty poorly directed. Asking to be smashed and they were.
Overall, I'm pretty happy that we didn't get smashed, because I wasn't optimistic about this series.
