Shout out to WR player of the year Ardie Savea. Massive engine, so physical in defence and attack, in the final he basically operated as a one man loose forward trio when Cane left and Frizell disappeared

Throughout the RWC he was amazing, as he has been for years. ABs best player this cycle. He was up there in attack and defence stats in RWC, the only player to be up there on both sides of the ball.

I really think Savea has grown into the No8 role over the last year. He’s always been a very good loose forward but is now more rounded as an 8 for me. Last year I’d have had Aldritt top, not so sure this year.

Gotta be Alldritt. Ardie wasn't up to the same standard as last year and a couple of strong performances against Ireland and South Africa have made people forget he was a bit average earlier in the campaign.
