Hilarious they just showed a replay of that ruck and the Irish player comes in from the side right in front of the Aussie ref, and nothing. The GTOTPE don’t need that extra help

The idea that this world cup is the most wide open ever in terms of who can win it was rubbish. Scotland are the 5th best team and aren't in the same sphere.

Ireland, South Africa, France are all genuine options and England and NZ can’t be written off.

Can’t remember another WC with that many options.

Did you see England today? England can be written off.

    Nz can be written off.

    It's a 3 horse race.

    What absolute bullshit

Where's the penalty advantage for being inside the 10 from the chip kick Berry?

Ireland getting rub of the green from officials because they are so good at infringing but clinical with it. AB's used to be but now we penailised repeatedly

A very well drilled and confident team. But its the rugby acumen around this Irish team that is the difference for me .

The ability to get in the refs ear early - sell them "their" story early EG. 1st scrum penalty to Scotland - chatter chatter chatter.. next scrum pen to Ireland (it was 50/50 for mine) - it also shows itself in the way (sexton in particular) milk penalties by dramatizing the shit out of it (France and SA are also very good at this)

The ability to milk time or speed up the game - e.g. slow it down when they need to (see first 25mins today) but also the ability to spot an opportunity and speed the game up when they want too.

The other big advantage they have this world cup is - essentially every game is a home game ... unless they play France.

They will be very hard to beat next week and I don't feel that Foster and this ABs team have the same level of rugby acumen (if any) the Irish have demonstrated the last 12 months --

The only way I can see the ABs winning is to get up early with a stellar 1st 20mins (unfortunately I think that is what Ireland will do to us), AND the ref is not an Englishmen (excluding Barnes) or a Frenchmen
